Provided is a RFID tag capable of stably carrying out communication regardless of whether the RFID tag is attached to a metallic member or a non-metallic member. A loop antenna, including a first antenna element and a second antenna element, of this RFID tag has an overlapped section, where a first end part of the first antenna element and a second end part of the second antenna element are overlapped while being insulated from each other, on a second surface side located opposite to a first surface of a base section. The electrostatic capacitance of the overlapped section is adjusted such that the difference between the imaginary number component of a first combined impedance as viewed from the first terminal and second terminal and the imaginary number component of a second combined impedance as viewed from the first terminal and second terminal becomes equal to or smaller than a predetermined difference, said first combined impedance being obtained from the inductance of the loop antenna, the electrostatic capacitance between the loop antenna and a metallic member, and the electrostatic capacitance of the overlapped section when the second surface of the base section is attached to the metallic member, and said second combined impedance being obtained from the inductance of the loop antenna and the electrostatic capacitance of the overlapped section when the second surface of the base section is attached to a non-metallic member.

La présente invention concerne une étiquette RFID permettant de mettre en œuvre une communication, de manière stable, que l'étiquette RFID soit fixée à un organe métallique ou à un organe non métallique. Une antenne-cadre, comportant un premier élément d'antenne et un second élément d'antenne, de ladite étiquette RFID, présente une section à recouvrement, une première partie d'extrémité du premier élément d'antenne et une seconde partie d'extrémité du second élément d'antenne se chevauchant tout en étant isolées l'une de l'autre, sur un côté seconde surface opposé à une première surface d'une section de base. La capacité électrostatique de la section de chevauchement est ajustée de sorte que la différence entre la composante nombre imaginaire d'une première impédance combinée – telle qu'observée depuis le premier terminal et le second terminal – et la composante nombre imaginaire d'une seconde impédance combinée – telle qu'observée depuis le premier terminal et le second terminal – devienne égale ou inférieure à une différence prédéfinie ; ladite première impédance combinée étant obtenue à partir de l'inductance de l'antenne-cadre, de la capacité électrostatique entre l'antenne-cadre et un organe métallique et de la capacité électrostatique de la section de chevauchement lorsque la seconde surface de la section de base est fixée à l'organe métallique ; et ladite seconde impédance combinée étant obtenue à partir de l'inductance de l'antenne-cadre et de la capacité électrostatique de la section de chevauchement lorsque la seconde surface de la section de base est fixée à un organe non métallique.
