An objective of the present invention is to maintain image resolution and avoid image quality degradation from image processing in a stream which is variable rate controlled. An image processing device is configured to comprise a resolution acquisition unit, an image scaling unit, and an image transform unit. The resolution acquisition unit acquires resolutions for a plurality of images which are contiguous in time series. The scaling rate generating unit generates a scaling rate relating to each of the plurality of images on the basis of the acquired resolutions. The image scaling unit carries out an image scaling process upon each of the plurality of images according to the generated scaling rate. The image transform unit carries out an image transform process on each of the plurality of images whereupon the image scaling process has been carried out.

Un objectif de la présente invention est de maintenir la résolution d’image et d’éviter la dégradation de qualité d’image due au traitement d’image dans un flux qui est commandé à vitesse variable. Le dispositif de traitement d’image est configuré pour comporter une unité d’acquisition de résolution, une unité de mise à l’échelle d’image et une unité de transformation d’image. L’unité d’acquisition de résolution acquiert des résolutions pour une pluralité d’images qui sont contiguës dans des séries temporelles. L'unité de génération de taux de mise à l’échelle génère un taux de mise à l’échelle relatif à chaque image de la pluralité d’images, d’après les résolutions acquises. L’unité de mise à l’échelle d’image exécute un processus de mise à l’échelle d’image sur chaque image de la pluralité d’images, d’après le taux de mise à l’échelle généré. L’unité de transformation d’image exécute un processus de transformation d’image sur chaque image de la pluralité d’images, ce qui conclut le processus de mise à l’échelle d’image.
