In order to provide a fluid machine with which performance improvements such as an expanded operating range for the flow volume can be achieved by means of a simple intake pipe configuration, this fluid machine (10), which is equipped with an impeller (6) attached to a rotary shaft (5), a housing (2) that houses the impeller in a rotatable manner, and an intake pipe (20) for supplying a fluid to the housing, is characterized in that the intake pipe (20) includes at least a first bend section arranged in a first plane (P1), and a second bend section arranged downstream from the first bend section in a second plane different from the first plane, with the upstream-side central axis of the second bend section being arranged along the downstream-side central axis of the first bend section, and the downstream-side central axis of the second bend section being arranged along the axial direction of the impeller at the front side of the impeller, and with the cross section of the intake pipe being formed in the same shape between the upstream end of the first bend section and the downstream end of the second bend section.
