Provided is a dye-sensitized solar cell element provided with at least one dye-sensitized solar cell, and a back sheet facing the at least one dye-sensitized solar cell. The at least one dye-sensitized solar cell comprises: a conductive substrate; a current collector disposed on the conductive substrate; a counter substrate facing the conductive substrate; a power-generating layer disposed on the conductive substrate or the counter substrate; an electrolyte positioned between the conductive substrate and the counter substrate; an annular sealing part that encloses the conductive substrate and counter substrate, and the power-generating layer and electrolyte, and joins the conductive substrate and counter substrate. The dye-sensitized solar cell element is further provided with an attachment part that attaches the back sheet and the conductive substrate in an annular region enclosing the at least one dye-sensitized solar cell. The current collector is disposed only outside the sealing part, and only inside the outer peripheral surface of the attachment part.
