A display device (10) is provided with: a display panel (11), on the front side of which an image is displayed; a drive printed circuit board (113) for controlling the display driving of the display panel (11); a flexible wiring (111) provided with flexibility, for providing electrical connection between the display panel (11) and the drive printed circuit board (113); and a frame (13) having a frame part (13a) forming a frame shape facing a peripheral edge of the display panel (11) on the front side thereof, a side wall part (13b) provided extending from the frame part (13a) so as to surround the periphery of the display panel (11) and extend toward the rear of the display panel (11), and an accommodating part (13c) formed on the inside of the side wall part (13b), the accommodating part (13c) including a groove part (13c1) which opens toward the frame part (13a), and the drive printed circuit board (113) being inserted and accommodated in the groove part (13c1).
