Provided is a vertical axis type Magnus wind turbine generator which has high electric power generation efficiency and which can be easily controlled. A vertical axis type Magnus wind turbine generator comprises: a wind wheel section (2) which has a generator rotating shaft (3a) and which is rotated about a vertical axis by a wind force; and a generator (3) having a stator (101) and a rotor (100) which is connected to the wind wheel section (2). The wind wheel section (2) has: barrel sets (50) each having two barrels (5), the barrel sets (50) being disposed parallel to the generator rotating shaft (3a) and being rotated about the generator rotating shaft (3a); and a support member (4) for connecting the barrel sets (50) to the generator rotating shaft (3a). Each of the two barrels (5) is configured so that the barrel (5) can rotate about a support shaft (6) supported by the support member (4), and the directions of rotation of the two barrels (5) are opposite to each other.

Cette invention se rapporte à un générateur éolien Magnus de type à axe vertical qui présente une grande efficacité de production d'électricité et qui peut être commandé facilement. Le générateur éolien Magnus de type à axe vertical comprend : une section roue éolienne (2) qui possède un arbre tournant de générateur (3a) et qui tourne autour d'un axe vertical grâce à la force du vent ; ainsi qu'un générateur (3) qui comporte un stator (101) et un rotor (100), et qui est relié à la section roue éolienne (2). Cette section roue éolienne (2) comprend : des ensembles de barillets (50) qui comptent chacun deux barillets (5), les ensembles de barillets (50) étant placés parallèlement à l'arbre tournant de générateur (3a) et tournant autour dudit arbre tournant de générateur (3a) ; ainsi qu'un élément support (4) qui sert à relier les ensembles de barillets (50) à l'arbre tournant de générateur (3a). Chacun des deux barillets (5) est conçu de manière à pouvoir tourner autour d'un arbre de support (6) qui est porté par l'élément support (4), et les sens de rotation des deux barillets (5) sont opposés.
