The present invention addresses the problem of providing a solid-state dye laser medium having a long life. The problem is resolved by a solid-state dye laser medium which comprises both polydimethylsiloxane and a dye dissolved in the polydimethylsiloxane. The dye is preferably a pyrromethene dye.

La présente invention vise à fournir un milieu actif de laser solide à colorant ayant une longue vie utile. À cet effet, l'invention concerne un milieu actif de laser solide comportant à la fois du polydiméthylsiloxane et un colorant dissout dans le polydiméthylsiloxane. Le colorant est de préférence un colorant pyrrométhène.
