During charging, a vehicle and a power source are connected via a charging cable, which comprises a signal line which transmits a pilot signal (CPLT) that communicates data, and a power line which transmits power. The voltage of the pilot signal changes between a high potential and a low potential, which has a lower potential than the high potential. A charging connector (310) is equipped with: a power terminal that is supplied with power from the power line; a signal terminal (T1) to which the pilot signal (CPLT) from the signal line is transmitted; and a light-emitting diode (700) one end of which is linked to the signal of the signal line, and the other end of which is linked to a node (T3) that has a higher potential than the low potential, and where the forward direction is the direction that goes from the second end towards the first end.

Selon l'invention, lors d'une charge, un véhicule et une source d'alimentation sont connectés par l'intermédiaire d'un câble de charge qui comporte un circuit de transmission qui transmet un signal pilote (CPLT) communiquant des données, et une conduite électrique qui transmet de l'énergie. La tension du signal pilote passe d'un potentiel élevé à un potentiel faible, inférieur au potentiel élevé. Un connecteur de charge (310) est équipé : d'une borne d'alimentation alimentée en énergie à partir de la conduite électrique ; d'une borne de signal (T1) à laquelle est transmis le signal pilote (CPLT) provenant du circuit de transmission, et d'une diode électroluminescente (700) dont une extrémité est reliée au signal du circuit de transmission, et l'autre extrémité est reliée à un nœud (T3) ayant un potentiel supérieur au potentiel faible, le sens direct étant le sens allant de la seconde extrémité à la première extrémité.
