An air intake manifold consisting of a resin and connected to the air intake port of a cylinder of an internal combustion engine, the air intake manifold comprising an EGR introducing opening which discharges an exhaust recirculation gas to the cylinder side, and the air intake manifold also comprising a tumble control valve, the tumble control valve being capable of being changed to an open position at which an air intake route connected to the cylinder is open and a closed position at which the air intake route is closed, the tumble control valve having a cutout section which, when the tumble control valve is at the closed position, forms a gap between the cutout section and the inner peripheral wall of the air intake route.  When the tumble control valve is at the open position and at the closed position, the EGR introducing opening and the tumble control valve are not superposed on each other on a horizontal projection plane, and when the tumble control valve is at least either at the open position or at the closed position, the upstream-most position of the EGR introducing opening in the air intake direction is located within the range of the cutout section on the horizontal projection plane.

L'invention porte sur un collecteur d'admission d'air qui est constitué d'une résine, qui est relié à l'orifice d'admission d'air d'un cylindre d'un moteur à combustion interne, qui comporte une ouverture d'introduction de recirculation des gaz d'échappement (EGR) qui évacue des gaz de recirculation d'échappement vers le côté cylindre, et qui comporte également une soupape de commande de tourbillon transversal, la soupape de commande de tourbillon transversal pouvant passer à une position ouverte à laquelle un trajet d'admission d'air relié au cylindre est ouvert et à une position fermée à laquelle le trajet d'admission d'air est fermé, la soupape de commande de tourbillon transversal présentant une section découpée qui, lorsque la soupape de commande de tourbillon transversal est à la position fermée, forme un espace entre la section découpée et la paroi périphérique interne du trajet d'admission d'air. Lorsque la soupape de commande de tourbillon transversal est à la position ouverte et à la position fermée, l'ouverture d'introduction de recirculation des gaz d'échappement et la soupape de commande de tourbillon transversal ne sont pas superposées l'une sur l'autre sur un plan de projection horizontal, et lorsque la soupape de commande de tourbillon transversal est au moins soit à la position ouverte, soit à la position fermée, la position la plus en amont de l'ouverture d'introduction de recirculation des gaz d'échappement dans la direction d'admission d'air est située à l'intérieur de l'étendue de la section découpée sur le plan de projection horizontal.

 内燃機関の気筒の吸気ポートに接続される樹脂製の吸気マニホルドであって、排気還流ガスを気筒の側に向けて放出するEGR導入口と、気筒への吸気経路を開放する開姿勢と吸気経路を閉塞する閉姿勢とに姿勢変更可能で、閉姿勢のときに吸気経路の内周壁との間に隙間を形成する切欠部を有するタンブル制御弁とを備え、タンブル制御弁が開姿勢及び閉姿勢のとき、EGR導入口とタンブル制御弁とが水平投影面上で重ならず、且つ、開姿勢及び閉姿勢のうち少なくとも一方のとき、EGR導入口の吸気方向最上流側の位置が水平投影面上で切欠部の範囲内にあるよう構成した。
