A twin-clutch transmission, wherein, when the reverse shift position is established, the driving force of an engine (E) is transmitted to drive wheels (W, W) through the following route: an even shift position clutch (Ce) → a second input shaft (13) → a gear (22) on the second input shaft → a second gear (42) on an idler shaft → a first gear (41) on the idler shaft → a first gear (23) on a first sub-shaft → the first sub-shaft (14) → a second gear (24) on the first sub-shaft → a second gear (34) on a third sub-shaft → a synchronizing device (36) for first and third speeds → the third sub-shaft (16) → a third gear (35) on the third sub-shaft → a gear (46) on a second output shaft → the second output shaft (19) → a final driving gear (44) → a final driven gear (48) → a differential gear (47).  Because of the configuration above, when an odd shift position clutch (Co) is engaged to establish the first speed shift position, the entire driving force transmission route on the downstream of the first gear (23) on the first sub-shaft is used in common with the case where the reverse shift position is established, and this effectively reduces the weight and the size of the transmission.
