[PROBLEMS] A stowable vehicle seat having a mechanism for preventing an erroneous operation in stowage and return operations of the seat. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The stowable vehicle seat (S) having operation means using a strap (20) for stowage and return operations of the seat has brackets (52, 52) formed on a seatback frame (22), a rocking member (53) rockably supported by the brackets (52, 52), and a braking member (58) secured to the strap (20). The brackets (52, 52) have vertical long holes (52b, 52b). The rocking member has left and right plate bodies (53c, 53c) having vertically long braking holes (54, 54) and also has an upper plate (53b) for interconnecting the plate bodies (53c, 53c). The upper plate (53b) is placed so that its lower side can be in sliding contact with the strap (20). The braking holes (54, 54) have, on their front sides, expanded-width sections (54a, 54a). The braking member (58), secured to the strap (20), has the erroneous operation prevention mechanism inserted through the long holes (52b, 52b) and through the braking holes (54, 54).

Le problème à résoudre dans le cadre de la présente invention consiste à élaborer un siège de véhicule escamotable qui possède un mécanisme pour empêcher une opération erronée dans des opérations d'escamotage et de retour à la position normale du siège. La solution proposée consiste en un siège de véhicule escamotable (S) qui possède des moyens d'actionnement qui utilisent une sangle (20) pour les opérations d'escamotage et de retour à la position normale du siège et qui possède des supports (52, 52) formés sur un cadre de dossier de siège (22), un élément pivotant (53) supporté de façon pivotante par les supports (52, 52), et un élément de freinage (58) fixé à la sangle (20). Les supports (52, 52) possèdent des orifices longs verticaux (52b, 52b). L'élément pivotant possède des corps de plaque gauche et droit (53c, 53c) qui possèdent des orifices de freinage verticalement longs (54, 54) et possède également une plaque supérieure (53b) pour interconnecter les corps de plaque (53c, 53c). La plaque supérieure (53b) est placée de sorte que son côté inférieur puisse être en contact coulissant avec la sangle (20). Les orifices de freinage (54, 54) possèdent, sur leurs côtés avant, des sections de largeur agrandie (54a, 54a).
