The object is to discover a naturally occurring compound which does not cause any adverse side effect (e.g., a hormonal effect) or digestive tract disorder unlike a steroidal or non-steroidal degranulation inhibitor and has a degranulation inhibitory effect compatible to that of a steroidal or non-steroidal degranulation inhibitor. A degranulation inhibitor comprising, as an active ingredient, an ellagic acid derivative represented by the formula (I) or a salt thereof: (I) wherein R¹ represents a hydroxyl group or a methoxy group and R² represents a methoxy group, or R¹ and R² together form a methylenedioxy group; R³ represents a hydroxyl group or a methoxy group; and R⁴ represents a glucosyloxy group or a hydroxyl group.

La présente invention a pour but de découvrir un composé d'origine naturelle qui n'entraîne pas d'effet secondaire indésirable (p. ex., un effet hormonal) ni de trouble du tube digestif à la différence d'un inhibiteur de dégranulation stéroïde ou non stéroïde ; il aura un effet inhibiteur de dégranulation compatible à celui d'un inhibiteur stéroïde ou non stéroïde. Il s'agit d'un inhibiteur de dégranulation comprenant, comme ingrédient actif, un dérivé d'acide ellagique représenté par la formule (I) ou un sel dérivé : (I) où R¹ représente un groupe d'hydroxyle ou un groupe méthoxy et R² représente un groupe méthoxy, ou R¹ et R² ensemble forment un groupe méthylènedioxy ; R³ représente un groupe hydroxyle ou un groupe méthoxy ; et R⁴ représente un groupe glucosyloxy ou un groupe hydroxyle.
