La présente invention concerne un phosphore à structure nanométrique et un composite nano-phosphore ayant une excellente luminance d'émission. Le nano-phosphore se compose d'un cristal inorganique à structure nanométrique ayant un diamètre de grain allant de 2 nm à 10 nm et ayant un rapport de dispersion de la distribution d'intensité d'illumination allant de 5 % à 20 %.
