[PROBLEMS] To provide a brass plated steel wire for rubber article reinforcement that ensures unfailing enhancement of adherence between brass plated steel wire and rubber, and provide a process for producing the same. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided brass plated steel wire (10) for rubber article reinforcement having brass plating layer (11) on its surface, characterized in that the brass plating layer (11) has noncrystalline region (11a) composed of crystal grains of 20 nm or less diameter. The brass plating layer (11) may have laminated structure region (13) composed of surface-side noncrystalline region (11a) and inside crystalline region (11b) characterized in that while the noncrystalline region (11a) is composed of crystal grains of 20 nm or less diameter, the crystalline region (11b) is composed of crystal grains of over 20 nm diameter.

L'invention concerne un fil d'acier gainé de laiton pour renforcer des articles en caoutchouc, pour assurer une amélioration sans faille de l'adhérence entre le fil d'acier gainé de laiton et le caoutchouc, et mettre au point un procédé pour produire celui-ci. L'invention concerne ainsi un fil d'acier gainé de laiton (10) pour renforcer des articles en caoutchouc comprenant une couche de gainage de laiton (11) sur sa surface, caractérisé en ce que la couche de gainage de laiton (11) présente une région non cristalline (11a) composée de grains de cristal de 20 nm, ou moins, de diamètre. La couche de gainage de laiton (11) peut présenter une région de structure stratifiée (13) composée d'une région non cristalline (11a) du côté de la surface et d'une région cristalline intérieure (11b), caractérisée en ce que, alors que la région non cristalline (11a) est composée de grains de cristal de 20 nm, ou moins, de diamètre, la région cristalline (11b) est composée de grains de cristal de plus de 20 nm de diamètre.

【課題】ブラスめっき鋼線とゴムとの接着性を確実に向上させることのできるゴム物品補強用のブラスめっき鋼線とその製造方法を提供する。 【解決手段】本発明のゴム物品補強用のブラスめっき鋼線は、表面にブラスめっき層11を有するゴム物品補強用のブラスめっき鋼線10であって、ブラスめっき層11が、20nm以下の粒径の結晶粒により形成された非結晶質性部11aを有したことを特徴とする。また、ブラスめっき層11が、表面側の非結晶質性部11aと内側の結晶質性部11bとが積層された積層構造部分13を備え、非結晶質性部11aが20nm以下の粒径の結晶粒により形成され、結晶質性部11bが20nmを超える粒径の結晶粒により形成されたことも特徴とする。
