A light source unit comprising at least an excitation light source and a photocoupler, a light source medium consisting of one kind of a single fiber added with a rare earth element which is excited by the excitation light source and has two terminals, and an output end formed of an optical fiber. An optical component having at least one of reflection, branching or attenuation function is provided in anywhere of an optical circuit from the light source medium to the output end. The light source unit can output light beams of different wavelengths generated from the rare earth element ions added to the fiber and caused by different peaks of spontaneous emission light, and at least one light beam is a visible light beam.

La présente invention concerne une unité de source lumineuse comprenant au moins une source de lumière d'excitation et un photocoupleur, un support de source lumineuse consistant en un type de monofibre combinée à un métal du groupe des terres rares qui est excité par la source de lumière d'excitation et qui comporte deux bornes, et une extrémité de sortie formée d'une fibre optique. Un composant optique ayant au moins une fonction de réflexion, de branchement ou d'atténuation est disposé en un point quelconque d'un circuit optique allant du support de source lumineuse à l'extrémité de sortie. L'unité de source lumineuse peut produire des faisceaux lumineux à différentes longueurs d'ondes générés par les ions du métal du groupe des terres rares ajouté à la fibre et provoqués par différents pics d'émission lumineuse spontanée, au moins un des faisceaux lumineux étant visible.
