(EN) The amount of strain occurring in side edges of a belt layer is maintained at a sufficiently small level despite an increase in the width of a narrow belt layer on the inner layer side necessitated by a requirement. As a result, separation of the belt layer and, in turn, a belt is effectively prevented. The pneumatic tire for a heavy load has two inner layer-side narrow belt layers (1B, 2B) and two outer layer-side wide belt layers (3B, 4B) having a greater width than the narrow belt layers, and the narrow and wide belt layers are sequentially arranged on the outer circumferential side of a crown region of a radial carcass (5). Side edge sections of the narrow belt layer (1B), the innermost layer, are convexed radially outward.
(FR) Selon l’invention, l’importance de la déformation se produisant sur les bords latéraux d’une couche de ceinture est maintenue à un niveau suffisamment faible malgré l’augmentation de la largeur d’une couche de ceinture étroite sur le côté de couche interne exigée. En conséquence, la séparation de la couche de ceinture et, ensuite, d’une ceinture, est efficacement empêchée. Le pneumatique gonflable pour une charge lourde comporte deux couches de ceinture étroite du coté de la couche interne (1B, 2B) et deux couches de ceinture larges du côté de la couche externe (3B, 4B) présentant une plus grande largeur que les couches de ceinture étroites, et les couches de ceintures étroites et larges sont installées de manière séquentielle sur le côté périphérique externe d’une région de sommet d’une carcasse radiale (5). Les sections de bords latéraux de la couche de ceinture étroite (1B), la couche la plus à l’intérieur, sont radialement convexes vers l’extérieur.
