Use of a lignin derivative obtained by introducing a phenol compound in lignin, especially in a semiconductor thin-film electrode, a photoelectric conversion element or a solar cell including the same. In particular, a photoelectric conversion element semiconductor thin-film electrode being free from carbon resource restraints, a photoelectric conversion element or a solar cell including the same. In the photoelectric conversion element, use is made of a semiconductor film amplified by at least one lignin derivative selected from the group consisting of lignophenol derivatives, second order derivatives obtained from the lignophenol derivatives, higher order derivatives obtained from the lignophenol derivatives, substances constituted of the second order derivatives crosslinked and substances constituted of the higher order derivatives crosslinked.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un dérivé de la lignine obtenu par introduction d'un composé phénolique dans la lignine, notamment dans une électrode à film mince semi-conducteur, ainsi qu'un élément de conversion photoélectrique, ou une cellule solaire renfermant celui-ci. En particulier, l'invention concerne un élément de conversion photoélectrique à électrode à film mince semi-conducteur, dépourvue de retardateurs de ressources de carbone, un élément de conversion photoélectrique ou une cellule solaire renfermant celui-ci. Dans l'élément de conversion photoélectrique, on utilise un film semi-conducteur amplifié par au moins un dérivé de la lignine choisi dans le groupe comprenant des dérivés de lignophénol, des dérivés du second ordre obtenus à partir des dérivés de lignophénol, des dérivés d'ordre élevé obtenus à partir des dérivés de lignophénol, des substances constituées par des dérivés du second ordre réticulés et des substances constituées par des dérivés d'ordre élevé réticulés.
