A polymer composition comprising at least one addition polymer type block copolymer (a) having a weight-average molecular weight of 30000 to 200000 which is selected from among block copolymers each comprising one or more polymer block (A) composed mainly of aromatic vinyl units containing at least 1% by mass of structural units (I) derived from an alkylstyrene having at least one C1-8 alkyl group bonded to the benzene ring and one or more polymer block (B) composed mainly of conjugated diene units and products of hydrogenation of the block copolymers, an acrylic resin (b), and a softener (c) in proportions (by mass) satisfying the relationships [1] and [2]: 0.05 < Wb/Wa < 2 [1] Wc/(Wa + Wb + Wc) < 0.5 [2] [wherein Wa, Wb, and Wc are the contents (by mass) of the block copolymer (a), the acrylic resin (b), and the softener (c)]. The polymer composition is excellent in processability in molding, softness, rubber elasticity, mechanical characteristics, and transparency as well as in mar resistance and wear resistance, thus being effectively usable in a wide field by virtue of such properties.

La présente invention concerne une composition polymère comprenant au moins un copolymère séquencé du type à polymérisation par addition (a) ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids de 30000 à 200000, qui est choisi parmi les copolymères séquencés comprenant chacun une ou plusieurs séquences polymères (A) composées principalement d'unités vinyl-aromatiques contenant au moins 1 % en masse d'unités structurelles (I) dérivées d'un alkylstyrène présentant au moins un groupe alkyle en C1-8 lié à un cycle de benzène, et une ou plusieurs séquences polymères (B) composées principalement d'unités de diène conjuguées, ainsi que des produits d'hydrogénation des copolymères séquencés, une résine acrylique (b) et un plastifiant (c) en des proportions (en masse) qui permettent aux relations [1]: 0,05 $m(F) Wb/Wa $m(F) 2; et [2]: Wc/(Wa + Wb + Wc) $m(F) 0,5 d'être vérifiées. Dans ces relations, Wa, Wb et Wc représentent respectivement les teneurs (en masse) en copolymère séquencé (a), résine acrylique (b) et plastifiant (c). La composition polymère a d'excellentes propriétés en ce qui concerne l'aptitude au moulage, la flexibilité, l'élasticité caoutchouc, les propriétés mécaniques et la transparence, ainsi que la résistance mar et la résistance à l'usure, ce qui lui permet d'être utilisée efficacement pour une large gamme d'applications pour lesquelles ces propriétés sont nécessaires.
