PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing having a retainer capable of suppressing deterioration in the strength under a high temperature and high humidity environment while securing the required strength, and having the long service life.

SOLUTION: A ball bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring provided outside the inner ring, a plurality of rolling elements interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring, and an annular retailer having a pocket and rotatably retaining the rolling elements around a rotating shaft at an interval in a circumferential direction. The retainer is made of a resin composition containing polyether ketone-based resin, graphite, and carbon fiber. When the entirety of the resin composition is defined as 100 wt.%, the content of the polyether ketone-based resin is 60 wt.% or more and 80 wt.% or less, the content of the graphite is 10 wt.% or more and 30 wt.% or less, and the content of the carbon fiber is 5 wt.% or more and 20 wt.% or less.

【解決手段】内輪と、前記内輪の外側に設置された外輪と、前記内輪と前記外輪との間に介在された複数の転動体と、前記転動体を周方向に間隔を置いて回転軸を中心に回転可能に保持するポケットを備えた円環状の保持器とを備えた玉軸受であって、上記保持器は、ポリエーテルケトン系樹脂、グラファイトおよび炭素繊維を含む樹脂組成物からなり、上記樹脂組成物全体を100重量%としたときに、上記ポリエーテルケトン系樹脂は60重量%以上80重量%以下の量、前記グラファイトは10重量%以上30重量%以下の量で、前記炭素繊維は5重量%以上20重量%以下の量で含まれている。
