PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a norovirus-binding peptide useful for detecting a norovirus or controlling infection therewith, a method of detecting a norovirus by means of the binding peptide, and a detection kit including the binding peptide.

SOLUTION: A norovirus-binding peptide screened such that a target molecule is a norovirus, by selection in a test tube using the cDNA display method. The peptide has a sequence consisting of 10 amino acids, or has cysteine residues added to one or both of the N-terminal and C-terminal of the amino acid sequence; or the cysteine residues added to the N-terminal and C-terminal form a ring through a disulfide bond. Also provided are a method of detecting a norovirus by means of the binding peptide, and a detection kit including the binding peptide.

【解決手段】cDNAディスプレイ法を用いた試験管内淘汰によりノロウイルスを標的分子としてスクリーニングされたペプチドであって、10アミノ酸で構成される配列を有する、あるいは該アミノ酸配列のN末端及びC末端のいずれか又は両方にシステイン残基が付加してなる、あるいは該N末端及びC末端に付加したシステイン残基がジスルフィド結合し環を形成してなるノロウイルス結合ペプチド、該結合ペプチドを用いたノロウイルスの検出方法、および該結合ペプチドを含む検出キット。
