PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent processing delay in pairing of an active pen and a sensor controller.

SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a sensor controller for controlling content of a downlink signal to be transmitted by each of two or more active pens. The sensor controller is configured to broadcast a multi-uplink signal M/U, including detected flags D3a, D3b indicative of a pairing state with each of the two or more active pens, to the two or more active pens.

【課題】アクティブペンとセンサコントローラのペアリング処理の遅延を防止する。
【解決手段】本発明は、2以上のアクティブペンのそれぞれに対して、それぞれが送信すべきダウンリンク信号の内容を制御するセンサコントローラの発明である。センサコントローラは、2以上のアクティブペンそれぞれとのペアリング状態を示す検出済みフラグD3a,D3bを含むマルチアップリンク信号M/Uを、上記2以上のアクティブペンに対して同報送信するよう構成される。
