PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature-sensitive pellet type thermal fuse preventing reconduction after the operation and improved in electrification blocking properties.

SOLUTION: A temperature-sensitive pellet type thermal fuse includes, at the inside of a cylindrical case 18 with good electrical conductivity and good thermal conductivity, a temperature-sensitive pellet 15 which at least melts or softens at a specific temperature, a strong compression spring 14 pressing the temperature-sensitive pellet, an insulating tube 12 closing an open end of the cylindrical case, a weak compressive spring 13 in contact with the insulating tube, a first lead 11 passing through the insulating tube and having an inner end serving as a contact section, and a movable contact 17 electrically connected to the first lead and the cylindrical case. The temperature-sensitive pellet type thermal fuse further includes a second lead 19 disposed in one end section of the cylindrical case. The movable contact includes a projecting contact member 17-1 at a central portion thereof, and the projecting contact member and the contact section of the first lead are in contact with each other so that a contact surface between the movable contact and the contact section of the first lead is housed in the inner side of a peripheral wall of the insulating tube.

【課題】動作後の再導通を防止し、通電遮断性が向上した感温ペレット型温度ヒューズを提供する。
【解決手段】良導電性かつ良熱伝導性の筒状ケース18の内部に、少なくとも、特定温度で溶融または軟化する感温ペレット15と、この感温ペレットを押圧する強圧縮ばね14と、筒状ケースの開口端を閉止する絶縁管12と、この絶縁管に当接した弱圧縮ばね13と、絶縁管を貫通した内方端を接点部とした第1リード11と、この第1リードおよび筒状ケースと電気接続した可動接点17とを有し、さらに筒状ケースの片端に配設された第2リード19を備え、可動接点は、中央部分に突起状接点部材17−1を設け、この突起状接点部材と第1リードの接点部とを当接させることで、可動接点と第1リードの接点部との接触面を絶縁管の周壁内側に収容した感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ。
