PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas leak detection system and gas leak detection method capable of speedily identifying a leak portion.

SOLUTION: The gas leak detection system includes: a closed chamber that includes an air inlet and air outlet and can be ventilated; a pipe through which a liquid gas or an evaporation gas generated by the vaporization of the liquid gas flows, and that have a plurality of leak assumption portions sprinkled in the closed chamber; a first gas detector disposed in the air outlet; and at least two second gas detectors that have a gas detection sensitivity lower than that of the first gas detector, and that are installed in at least two vicinities of the plurality of leak assumption portions.

【課題】漏洩箇所の特定を速やかに行うことができるガス漏洩検知システム及びガス漏洩検知方法を提供する。
【解決手段】ガス漏洩検知システムは、給気口及び排気口を備えて換気可能に構成された密閉室と、液化ガス又はそれが気化した蒸発ガスが流れ、密閉室内に点在する複数の漏洩想定箇所を有する配管と、排気口に設置された第1ガス検知器と、第1ガス検知器よりもガス検知感度が低い少なくとも2つの第2ガス検知器であって、複数の漏洩想定箇所の少なくとも2つの近傍にそれぞれ設置された少なくとも2つの第2ガス検知器と、を備える。
