PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pan capable of enhancing the temperature rising performance of oil stored in an inner tank by preventing the oil flowing down along an inner wall of a cylinder block from flowing into an outer tank.

SOLUTION: An oil pan 4 includes a resin-made separator 5: dividing the oil pan 4 into an inner tank 6 and an outer tank 7; and having a communication hole 9 communicating the inner tank 6 with the outer tank 7, and a protruded part 12 located above the communication hole 9. It further includes a ring-shaped plate 13 which has an insertion hole 15 for the protruded part 12 of the separator 5 to be inserted therethrough, and on the whole periphery of which a rubber lip 14 is mounted for closely contacting an inner wall 10 of the oil pan 4 to seal the outer tank 7. In the oil pan 4, the protruded part 12 inserted through the insertion hole 15 is thermally caulked to fix the plate 13 and the separator 5 to each other.

【課題】シリンダブロックの内壁を伝って流れ落ちるオイルが外槽に流入することを抑制して内槽に貯留されるオイルの昇温性を高めることのできるオイルパンを提供する。
【解決手段】オイルパン4は、オイルパン4を内槽6と外槽7とに区画するとともに、内槽6と外槽7とを連通する連通孔9と、同連通孔9よりも上方に位置する凸部12とを有する樹脂製のセパレータ5を備えている。また、セパレータ5の凸部12が挿通される挿通孔15を有し、オイルパン4の内壁10に密着して外槽7をシールするゴムリップ14が全周に取り付けられたリング状のプレート13を備えている。そして、このオイルパン4では、挿通孔15に挿通された凸部12を熱かしめしてプレート13とセパレータ5とを固定した。
