PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time necessary for preparation of venous puncture without giving pain to a person to be avascularized in a preparatory stage before the venous puncture.

SOLUTION: The automatic electronic tourniquet includes an arm band (an enclosing member) 1 enclosing the periphery of an upper arm W (any one of the limbs of a human body), and a control device 2 provided in the arm band 1, capable of controlling the pressure applied to the upper arm W by the arm band 1. The control device 2 includes a diastolic blood pressure detection circuit 201 and a pressurizing force setting maintenance circuit 202. The diastolic blood pressure detection circuit 201 is configured to detect change of a biological signal related to the diastolic phase blood pressure generated in the upper arm W by controlling the rise or decline of the pressure applied by the arm band 1. The pressurizing force setting maintenance circuit 202 is configured to set the pressure of the arm band 1 when change of the biological signal is detected by the diastolic blood pressure detection circuit 201 as a target pressure, and to control the pressure of the arm band 1 to be in a range approximate to the target pressure.

【課題】静脈穿刺前の準備段階において駆血を受ける者に苦痛を与えることがなく、かつその静脈穿刺の準備に要する時間の短縮を図ることにある。
【解決手段】上腕W(人体の何れかの肢)の周囲を囲む腕帯(囲繞部材)1と、腕帯1に設けられ腕帯1による上腕Wに対する加圧力を制御することが可能な制御装置2とを備え、制御装置2は拡張期血圧検出回路201と、加圧力設定維持回路202とを備え、拡張期血圧検出回路201は腕帯1の加圧力の上昇又は下降を制御することで、上腕Wに生じる拡張期血圧に関する生体信号の変化を検出するようになっており、加圧力設定維持回路202は、拡張期血圧検出回路201によって生体信号の変化を検出した際の腕帯1の加圧力を目標加圧力として設定すると共に、腕帯1の加圧力が目標加圧力に近似した範囲に入るように制御するようになっている。
