PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress useless power consumption by efficiently performing receiving processing in a mobile station device.

SOLUTION: A signalling detector 71 detects the switching timing of the transmission diversity mode of the base station of an HSDPA serving cell from signalling included in DPCH after despreading, and informs a control unit 72 of that switching timing. The control unit 72 controls an HS-PDSCH reception processor 40 and an HS-SCCH reception processor 50 so that reception processing of the sub-frame of the HS-PDSCH and the sub-frame of the HS-SCCH corresponding to that switching timing may be stopped.
