A cord for reinforcing elastomers excellent in adhesion to elastomers such as rubber is provided. The cord is a cord for reinforcing elastomers (10) that includes metallic filaments (1) and a resin filament (2) twisted together, the resin filament (2) being made from a polymeric material having a melting point or softening point of 80 to 160°C. The cord for reinforcing elastomers includes a core and at least one sheath layer, wherein, after vulcanization, a distance w between metallic filaments (1b) forming an outermost sheath layer is 100 µm or less, and, on a cross section of the cord taken along a direction orthogonal to an axial direction, a filling ratio, which is a ratio of an area of a polymeric material (3) derived from the resin filament (2) to a gap region is 52 to 120%, where the gap region is defined as a portion occupied by a material other than the metallic filaments (1) within a region formed by connecting the centers of the individual metallic filaments (1b) constituting the outermost sheath layer.

L'invention concerne un cordon pour le renforcement d'élastomères, qui présente une excellente adhérence à un élastomère tel qu'un caoutchouc. L'invention concerne un cordon (10) pour le renforcement d'élastomères, qui est composé de filaments métalliques (1) et de filaments de résine (2) torsadés ensemble, chacun des filaments de résine (2) étant fait d'un matériau polymère ayant un point de fusion ou un point de ramollissement de 80 à 160 °C. Le cordon (10) est composé d'une âme et d'au moins une couche de gaine, la distance w entre des filaments métalliques (1b) qui constituent une couche de gaine la plus à l'extérieur devenant inférieure ou égale à 100 µm après vulcanisation. Dans une région formée en reliant les centres des filaments métalliques (1b) constituant la couche de gaine la plus externe sur une section transversale du cordon (10) qui est relevée dans une direction orthogonale à la direction de l'axe, si une partie de la région qui est occupée par un matériau autre que les filaments métalliques (1) est définie comme une région d'intervalle, le rapport de remplissage, c'est-à-dire le rapport d'une zone d'un matériau polymère (3) dérivé des filaments de résine (2) à la zone de la région d'intervalle, est de 52 à 120 %.
