A flocculation monitoring apparatus and a flocculation monitoring method are provided, and the flocculation monitoring apparatus and the flocculation monitoring method are capable of stably measuring a flocculation state of water to be treated even when the number (density) of flocs has increased. A measurement-light applying part (laser-light applying part 10) applies a measurement light to a measurement region (18) in the water to be treated (8) and a scattered-light receiving part (12) receives a scattered light due to particles of the water to be treated. A measurement value arithmetic part (arithmetic circuit 48) calculates an index related to flocculation of the water to be treated, by using an amplitude of a light reception signal acquired in the scattered-light receiving part.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de surveillance de la coagulation et un procédé de surveillance de la coagulation aptes à mesurer de manière stable l'état de coagulation d'une eau en cours de traitement même si un comptage de floc (densité) augmente. Une unité d'irradiation de lumière de mesure (unité d'irradiation de lumière laser (10)) rayonne une lumière de mesure sur une région de mesure (18) pour l'eau en cours de traitement (8), et une unité de réception de lumière diffusée (12) reçoit la lumière diffusée par des particules de l'eau en cours de traitement. Une unité de calcul de valeur de mesure (circuit de calcul 48) utilise l'amplitude d'un signal de réception de lumière obtenu par l'unité de réception de lumière diffusée pour calculer un indice relatif à la coagulation de l'eau en cours de traitement.
