本发明提供在高温高湿环境下调色剂带电量的降低和灰雾的发生得到抑制,且流动性优异的静电荷图像显影用调色剂。本发明的静电荷图像显影用调色剂是含有含粘结树脂和着色剂的着色树脂粒子以及外部添加剂的静电荷图像显影用调色剂,其特征在于,上述外部添加剂是树脂微粒的表面被选自二氧化硅、氧化铝、二氧化钛、和氧化锆中的至少一种无机成分被覆而成的芯壳型复合微粒,且以该芯壳型复合微粒的总体积为100体积%时,该芯壳型复合微粒的无机成分的体积比例为45~75体积%。
