A rectangular thick flat-plate molded product, produced by injection molding, including a thermoplastic resin and a method of producing the molded product are provided. In the molded product, the difference between the maximum thickness and the minimum thickness is equal to or smaller than 3% of the thickness of the central portion, the thickness from the central portion to a peripheral edge is uniform and even, a fine recess-ridge pattern on the surface of a metal die can be accurately transferred to the product, and the molded product can be suitably used as an optical material. In the method of producing the molded product by injection molding, a metal die is heated so that the temperature of at least a pair of two opposed end sides of a rectangular cavity of the metal die is maintained higher by 2 DEG C or more than the maximum temperature of the central portion of the cavity of the metal die.

本发明提供厚平板成型品及其制造方法,所述厚平板成型品是含有通过注塑成型法制造的热塑性树脂而形成的长方形的厚平板成型品,其特征在于,最大厚度和最小厚度之差为中央部的厚度的3%或3%以下,并且从中央部到边缘部分厚度均一且没有偏差,可正确地转印模具表面的微细凹凸图案,并且适合于作为光学材料使用;所述厚平板成型品的制造方法的特征是:在通过注塑成型法制造热塑性树脂的厚平板成型品时,加热模具并使注塑成型用模具的长方形内腔的至少1对的相对方向的2端边的温度维持比模具的内腔的中央部的最高温度高2℃或2℃以上。
