An information communication system has first proximity communication means activated by a first telephone used by a first user brought closer to a first device to connect the both, and second proximity communication means activated by a second telephone used by a second user brought closer to a second device to connect the both. The first telephone reads an IP address of the first device therefrom through the first proximity communication means, transmits it to the second telephone through a telephone network, and notifies the second device through the second proximity communication means. Information sharing and information exchange can be performed with a person with whom a conversation is being held by telephone through an associated operation of the telephone and the electronic device in proximity thereto.
