(EN) A vibration proofing device (10) is provided with an insulator (50) interposed between a first mounting member (30) and a second mounting member (40), and is disposed in an internal space (95) of a second bracket (90). The first mounting member (30) has provided thereto two lateral walls (33, 33) that are disposed parallel to each other so as to face the internal surface of the second bracket (90). The second mounting member (40) is a cylindrical member having an opening (41a) that penetrates therethrough in the vertical direction. At least one lateral edge of the lateral walls (33) is disposed on an outer side of the opening (41a) of the mounting member (40). The lateral walls (33) each have disposed on the exterior surface thereof a stopper (51) that is made of an elastic member. With this configuration, it is possible to sufficiently absorb impact shock resulting from the stopper (51) hitting the second bracket (90).
