This image analysis distance information provision system (1)comprises a computer device (10) and an imaging device (20). From an image of an object to be photographed captured by the imaging device (20), a control unit (11) for the computer device (10): (1) specifies the type of the object to be photographed; (2) calculates the actual length of the object to be photographed, per unit length in the image of the object to be photographed; (3) calculates theimaging range for the image of the object to be photographed, from said calculation results; and then (4) estimates the distance from the imaging device (20) to the object to be photographed, from the calculated imaging range.
