(EN) A signal processing device performs processing for reducing noise in a displacement amount measured on the basis of light reflected by an object of detection, and comprises a moving average calculation unit (17) for reducing the noise component included in an input signal by calculating a moving average for the input signal and an infinite impulse response filter (18) for reducing the noise component included in the input signal through digital signal processing. The filter coefficient of the infinite impulse response filter is determined on the basis of the difference between first calculation results output by the moving average calculation unit and second calculation results output by the infinite impulse response filter when the same signal is input to the moving average calculation unit and infinite impulse response filter.
