An objective of the present invention is, with a touch screen having a slim bezel, to reduce a capacitance offset and suppress bias in detection sensitivity. This touchscreen comprises: a plurality ofrow lines for detection 21 which extend in a row direction; a plurality of column lines for detection 31 which extend in a column direction and intersect in space with the plurality of row lines fordetection 21, defining the region of said intersection as a detection area; a plurality of lead lines R1 - R6, C1 - C8 which electrically connect the plurality of row lines for detection 21 and the plurality of column lines for detection 31 with a terminal 8 and which are positioned in a state of being guided around and mutually adjacent; and an outermost circumference shield line 41 which encompasses the detection area along, and further outwardly than, the outermost lead lines R1, C1 and which is connected to the terminal 8. In a region between the outermost circumference shield line 41 andthe detection area or the plurality of lead lines R1 - R6, C1 - C8, regions are present in which an interlaminar insulation film is absent.
