The accumulator (100) is configured in such a manner that a circular cylindrical container (2) is provided with: inlet piping (3) provided passing through the center axis (X) of the container (2) so as to be perpendicular to the center axis (X) and allowing a gas-liquid mixed refrigerant to flow into container (2); and lines of outlet piping (4) connected to the suction side of the compressors (1). One end of each of the lines of outlet piping (4) is located within the container (2) and serves as an outlet opening (9) which allows the gas refrigerant within the container (2) to flow out toward the compressors (1). The outlet openings (9) are arranged concentrated at the center section of the container (2).
