The invention relates to an application of a lignin derivative acquired by introducing phenolic compounds into lignin, in particular to applications in a semiconductor film electrode, a photoelectric conversion element and a solar cell using the photoelectric conversion element. The invention aims to provide the semiconductor film electrode of the photoelectric conversion element, the photoelectric conversion element and the solar cell using the element which are not restricted by carbon resource, wherein, the photoelectric conversion element of the semiconductor film is photosensitized by the lignin derivative; the lignin derivative selects one or more than two from a group consisting of a lignophenol derivative, a secondary derivative acquired from the lignophenol derivative, a higher derivative acquired from the lignophenol derivative, a crosslinked body of the secondary derivative and a crosslinked body of the higher derivative.

本发明涉及向木质素中导入酚化合物所得到的木质素衍生物的利用,尤其涉及在半导体薄膜电极、光电转换元件以及使用此元件的太阳能电池中的利用。本发明的目的是提供不受碳资源制约的光电转换元件半导体薄膜电极、光电转换元件以及使用该元件的太阳能电池,是一种使用由木质素衍生物进行增敏的半导体膜的光电转换元件,所述木质素衍生物是从木质素酚衍生物、由该木质素酚衍生物得到的二级衍生物、由该木质素酚衍生物得到的高级衍生物、该二级衍生物的交联体、该高级衍生物的交联体组成的组中选择一种或两种以上。
