The invention refers to an antitheft device for motorcycles comprising a nearly U-shaped structure having an arm slidable inside a tubular support bar integrally connected to the bottom of a rest area. The U-shaped structure has the concavity directed towards said bottom and partially delimits a seat at which the motorcycle can be parked. In particular, when the motorcycle is parked, the latter lies between the two arms of the U-shaped structure, in a manner such that the base of the U-shaped structure is at least partially housed in a concavity of the motorcycle placed between the tank and the seat. By means of a locking device, it is possible to prevent the sliding of the U-shaped structure with respect to the tubular support bar, so as to prevent the removal of the motorcycle from the rest area. The arms and the base of the U are three tubular bars, in whose cavities three cylindrical bars are respectively housed that are rotatable around the respective longitudinal axis. The presence of the rotatable bars ensures that the arms and the base of the U-shaped structure cannot be cut by means of, for example, a circular saw or a jigsaw. In an alternative embodiment of the antitheft device, object of the invention, both arms of the U-shaped structure are slidable in respective tubular support bars integrally connected to the bottom of the rest area or to an element (such as a low wall or a pillar) in turn integrally connected to the bottom of the rest area. In another alternative embodiment, the U-shaped structure lacks the arm not slidable within the tubular support bar. This variant of the antitheft device is installable in rest areas comprising at least one wall that preferably vertically rises from the bottom of the rest area. Said vertical wall itself acts as an obstacle to the movement of the motorcycle and thus makes the presence of the U-shaped structure arm not slidable within the tubular support bar superfluous.
