The invention relates to a multipurpose electrolytic device for forced or spontaneous electrolytic processes, which incorporates selective and unidirectional ion exchange membranes in order to separate between two or more compartments and allow electrical conductivity therebetween, with independent electrolytes for controlled electrolytic ion transformation, regardless of the chemical composition of the electrolyte containing the element of interest, with high faradaic efficiency and high energy performance. The invention also relates to a method. The device can be used for processes such as metal electrowinning, metal electrorefining, electrooxidation and electroreduction of ionic species. The device uses two independent, energetically suitable electrolytes, which allow controlled electrolytic ion transformation, with high faradaic efficiency and high energy performance, unlike current forced electrolysis methods, which operate with a common electrolyte. The device can be used in any aqueous medium, for example an acid environment, such as sulphuric, hydrochloric or other acid, a caustic-soda-based alkaline, or ammonium, thiocyanate or thiosulfate salts, optionally with the presence of organic reactants.

The system can be easily installed in all types of swimming pool without affecting the original character thereof, and uses an autonomous and safe source of energy, the electric power being generated by the kinetic energy accumulated in the water, produced by the driving system for the filtration of the swimming pool water. This energy is used both for the generation of electricity used in the production of ions by electrolysis, and as a source for indicating operation. Kinetic energy is also used as a source of energy for the element for actuating the electrode cleaner.

The invention relates to a method that obliges the user to initiate a telephone session before carrying out transactions. In this way, if this is not done, even if data and codes are stolen from cards or the Internet, it will not be possible to fraudulently access the bank account or commercial account of the user. In the event of an unlawful access attempt, the following are carried out simultaneously at the very moment: the user is advised by text message on their mobile phone, the account provider is advised via internal messaging, and a message appears on the screen of the salesperson in the case of purchases or payments in situ. This method allows a very high level of security to be reached for the performance of transactions, mainly for withdrawals from automatic teller machines, where the level is even higher. Said invention falls within the field of technology relating to computer security methods.
