PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely insert a coil in the coil embolization treatment of a cerebral aneurysm.

SOLUTION: A device for inserting a coil comprises a delivery wire driving section 10, a slave catheter driving section 20, and a controlling circuit 30. A platinum coil 100 for coil embolization is installed near the inlet of a Y-connector 131 so as to be able to advance and retract a delivery wire 110. The slave catheter driving device 20 is installed near the inlet of a Y-connector 132 so as to be able to advance and retract a slave catheter 124. The controlling circuit 30 controls the delivery wire drive section 10 so as to insert the delivery wire 110 with a predetermined insertion force. When the delivery wire 110 cannot be inserted, the controlling circuit controls the slave catheter driving device 20 to advance the slave catheter 124 after retracting the slave catheter and then controls the delivery wire driving section 10 to insert the delivery wire 110.

【課題】脳動脈瘤のコイル塞栓術治療において、コイルを精度良く挿入する。
【解決手段】コイルの挿入装置は、デリバリーワイヤ駆動部10と、子カテーテル駆動部20と、制御回路30とを備える。コイル塞栓用の白金コイル100は、デリバリーワイヤ110を前進ならびに後退させるように、Yコネクタ131の入口付近に設けられる。子カテーテル駆動装置20は、子カテーテル124を前進ならびに後退させるように、Yコネクタ132の入口付近に設けられる。制御回路30は、予め定められた挿入力でデリバリーワイヤ110を挿入するようにデリバリーワイヤ駆動部10を制御し、デリバリーワイヤ110を挿入できない場合、子カテーテル124を後退させた後に前進させるように子カテーテル駆動装置20を制御し、その後、デリバリーワイヤ110を挿入するようにデリバリーワイヤ駆動部10を制御する。
