The invention discloses a generation method for a random access preamble sequence. The generation method comprises the steps that random access configuration information is received, wherein the random access configuration information comprises preamble sequence resource pool information which comprises an available basic sequence; M sequences are generated according to the basic sequence, whereinM is greater than 1; and the random access preamble sequence is generated according to the M sequences. The invention further discloses a generation method for the random access preamble sequence anda random access configuration information indication method and device. According to the technical scheme, the random access preamble sequence can adapt to a 5G mid-high-frequency multi-beam operation, and the performance of the system random access process is improved.
