Provided is an OpenStack-based virtual machine HA method in a private cloud. A private cloud platform accesses a shared memory through a cinder, and all computing nodes of a cloud host related configuration file are placed in the same shared directory. By managing a virtual machine network through neutron, all virtual machines can be in communication with their own DHCP agents. By monitoring a status of a service network or a storage network of the virtual machines on the computing nodes, the HA can be accurately and timely triggered. A UUID of the virtual machine can be reached by sharing thecloud host related configuration file and a system disk. Configuration, IP and storage data are exactly the same as before. It is ensured that the successful migration does not affect the performanceof virtual machines under other projects. At the same time we also meet the additional needs of users, the users can specify which virtual machines support a HA function. Only these virtual machinesare automatically migrated.

一种基于OpenStack的私有云中虚拟机HA的方法,私有云平台通过cinder接入共享存储,云主机相关配置文件所有计算节点放在同一共享目录下。通过neutron管理虚拟机网络,所有的虚拟机都能够和自己的DHCP agent通信。通过监控计算节点上虚拟机的业务网络或存储网络状态达到准确及时触发HA,通过共享存储云主机相关配置文件和系统盘达到虚拟机的UUID,配置,IP,还有存储数据和之前一模一样,保证迁移成功后不会影响其它项目下虚拟机的性能。同时我们也满足用户的额外需求,用户可以指定哪些虚拟机支持HA功能。只有这些虚拟机会被自动迁移。
