(EN) Provided is a terminal including: a reception unit that performs monitoring of paging transmitted from a base station; a control unit that does not perform the monitoring of the paging when the terminal has transitioned to a radio resource control (RRC) idle mode or an RRC inactive mode and the type of the terminal is a specific type; and a transmission unit that performs uplink transmission to the base station. The specific type indicates a device that performs only uplink transmission, a device that performs periodic uplink transmission, or a device that tolerates a downlink delay greater than normal.
(FR) L'invention concerne un terminal comprenant : une unité de réception qui effectue une surveillance de radiomessagerie transmise par une station de base ; une unité de commande qui n'effectue pas la surveillance de la radiomessagerie lorsque le terminal est passé dans un mode de veille de commande de ressource radio (RRC) ou un mode inactif RRC, et que le type du terminal est un type spécifique ; et une unité de transmission qui effectue une transmission en liaison montante vers la station de base. Le type spécifique indique un dispositif qui réalise uniquement une transmission en liaison montante, un dispositif qui effectue une transmission de liaison montante périodique, ou un dispositif qui tolère un retard de liaison descendante supérieur à la normale.
