(EN) A construction arrangement of an elevator, comprises a hoistway (1), a protection deck (2, 2') arranged within the hoistway for protecting the portion of the hoistway below it from falling objects, wherein the protection deck comprises: a frame (4, 4') mounted on stationary structure of the hoistway, a cover (3) co-operating with the frame and extending across the hoistway, wherein the cover is adapted to protect the hoistway from falling objects and/or water from falling into the hoistway below it. The frame (4, 4') is, without dismantling it, configured to be increased and/or decreased in size, individually in at least one direction (W, L) in relation to the corresponding adjacent stationary structure (1a-1d), such as wall, of the hoistway (1). A method for constructing an elevator comprises mounting a protection deck (2, 2') within a hoistway.
(FR) L'invention concerne un agencement de construction d'un ascenseur comprenant une cage (1), une plateforme de protection (2, 2') agencée à l'intérieur de la cage pour protéger la partie de la cage en dessous de celle-ci contre les objets qui tombent, la plateforme de protection comprenant : un cadre (4, 4') monté sur une structure fixe de la cage, un capot (3) coopérant avec le cadre et s'étendant en travers de la cage, le capot étant adapté pour protéger la cage contre les objets qui tombent et/ou l'eau qui tombe dans la cage en dessous de celui-ci.
