Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems and methods for authenticating a user device using an authenticating device that has previously been associated with a user and/or a credential. The user may initiate a transaction at the user device. An authenticating device associated with the transaction may be sent an authentication request corresponding to the user device. The user may indicate whether or not the user device is authenticated utilizing the authenticating device. If the user device is authenticated, the transaction may proceed. If the user device is not authenticated the transaction may be rejected.

L'invention concerne, dans des modes de réalisation, des systèmes et des procédés d'authentification d'un dispositif utilisateur à l'aide d'un dispositif d'authentification qui a été préalablement associé à un utilisateur et/ou à un justificatif d'identité. L'utilisateur peut initier une transaction au niveau du dispositif utilisateur. Un dispositif d'authentification associé à la transaction peut se voir envoyer une demande d'authentification correspondant au dispositif utilisateur. L'utilisateur peut indiquer si oui ou non le dispositif utilisateur est authentifié à l'aide du dispositif d'authentification. Si le dispositif utilisateur est authentifié, la transaction peut se poursuivre. Si le dispositif utilisateur n'est pas authentifié, la transaction peut être refusée.
