What is claimed is

1. A method for optimizing a clinical analysis laboratory, the method implemented on a system comprising a processor, the method comprising

a. decomposing an identified problem into a plurality of sub-problems; b. identifying and defining a relationship between the plurality of sub-problems in terms of a set of pre-defined parameters; and

c. providing, via a human machine interface, a ranked list of best possible solutions associated with a sub-problem for optimizing the clinical analysis laboratory.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1 further comprising evaluating best possible solutions from amongst a possible set of solutions generated from at-least one parameter of the set of pre-defined parameters.

3. The method as claimed in claim 2, further comprising creating the ranked list of the best possible solutions.

4. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the set of parameters includes at least one of an objective and/or a constraint and/or performance indicators associated with the problem.

5. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein a heuristic methodology and/or a simulation methodology and/or a statistical methodology is used to optimize the clinical analysis laboratory.

6. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the best possible solutions are retrieved from a historical repository.

7. The method as claimed in claim 6, wherein the historical repository comprises at least one of a structured or unstructured data.

8. A system configured to perform the method as claimed in any of the preceding claims 1 to 7.
