Claims

1. An adjustable dosing dispensing assembly (1) adapted for dispensing a liquid or semi-liquid material in multiple doses of various amounts, the dispensing assembly comprising:

a housing (2) with an outlet (91),

an operating member (9) arranged at one end of said housing (2) and movable with respect to the housing (2) along an operating direction (M),

a dosing chamber (26) formed inside the housing (2), said dosing chamber having an inlet (41) adapted for closing by a valve (4), wherein said dosing chamber (26) comprises a stationary wall part (3, 26a) secured to the housing (2) and a movable wall part (5a) secured to the operating member (9), said wall parts being coupled in a sealing manner to each other, wherein said dosing chamber is in fluid communication with said outlet (91), said fluid communication being closable by a valve (7, 7a), a locking assembly for locking the operating member (9) to the housing (2), and at least one release member (22) arranged at least partly on the outer surface of the housing (2) and configured to release the operating member (9) from its locked state, characterized by that

the locking assembly is configured to prevent the operating member (9), in its initial state, from moving relative to the housing (2) along the operating direction (M), the operating member (9) is rotatable with respect to the housing (2) around a longitudinal axis of the dispensing assembly in an initial state of the dispensing assembly (1), thereby adapted for turning into various positions corresponding to the different dose adjustments,

the operating member (9) is mechanically biased with respect to the housing (2) in the initial state of the dispensing assembly (1),

there are at least two limiting elements arranged inside the housing (2) in different angular positions around the longitudinal axis of the dispensing assembly,

the operating member (9) is provided with at least one stopping element,

- wherein each dose setting of the dispensing assembly is associated with at least one pair of a limiting element and a stopping element, and wherein the at least two limiting elements of the housing (2) and the at least one stopping element of the operating member (9) are arranged with respect to each other so that in the initial state of the operating member (9), the distance between a stopping element and an associated limiting element along the operating direction (M) is different for each different dose adjustment.

2. The dispensing assembly of claim 1 , wherein said locking assembly comprises at least:

at least one edge (11 1) arranged inside the operating member (9), and at least one catch element (24) extending in parallel to the operating direction (M) and releasably coupled to at least one edge (11 1),

- wherein each of said at least one catch element (24) is rigidly connected to a release member (22), said release member (22) being resiliently coupled to the housing (2), and

- wherein the end portion (241) of each catch element (24) that engages with the at least one edge (1 11) and the edges (111) are mutually configured to allow, when the operating member (9) is pushed down, the edges (1 11) to move over the end portion (241) of the catch element (24) substantially without resistance until the catch element (24) is stably engaged with an edge (11 1) in a locked state of the operating member (9), and

- wherein the release member (22) is configured to disengage the associated catch element (24) from the at least one edge (11 1) in response to displacing the release member (22) from outside towards the inside of the housing (2).

3. The dispensing assembly of claim 2, wherein the dispensing assembly comprises a plurality of edges (11 1) along the operating direction (M), the uppermost or lowermost edges (11 1) jointly forming a single circumferential rim (1 11 ' or 1 11").

The dispensing assembly of any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the housing (2) comprises the same number of groups of limiting elements as the number of different doses, wherein each of the groups of limiting elements is formed of a rib (206) arranged on the inner wall of the housing and extending transversally to the operating direction (M), and the operating member (9) has a one or more groups of stopping elements residing under any of the groups of limiting elements, and wherein said one or more groups of stopping elements are formed of a transversal rib or edge (207) arranged at a bottom flange of the side wall of the operating member (9) and projecting outwards from said side wall.

5. The dispensing assembly of any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein adjacent to the at least one limiting element, ribs (205) are provided for preventing the at least one stopping element from moving in a direction perpendicular to the operating direction (M).

6. The dispensing assembly of any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the valve (7) comprises a vacuum valve made of a resilient material and is arranged in the outlet (91) of the operating member (9).

7. The dispensing assembly of any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the valve (7a) is arranged at the outer end of the dispensing passage (82).

The dispensing assembly of any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the release member (22) is formed by a zone of the side wall of the housing (2), said zone being at least partly cut around and connected to the side wall of the housing (2) in a resiliently tiltable manner at one end thereof distant from the outlet (91), and rigidly connected to a catch element (24) at a point thereof adjacent to said outlet (91).

9. The dispensing assembly of any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein a cap (30) is coupled to the operating member (9) through a hinge (31), said cap being adapted for securing to an outer surface of the operating member (9).

10. The dispensing assembly according to claim 1 , characterized in that the locking assembly comprises:

at least one locking element (211) arranged inside the housing (2); and at least one catch element (224) arranged in parallel with the operating direction (M) and releasably coupled to at least one locking element (211);

- wherein the at least one catch element (224) is resiliently connected to a locking insert (11) coupled to the operating member (9);

- wherein each of said catch elements (224) has a plurality of teeth (341) for engaging with a plurality of teeth (31 1) of the at least one locking element (21 1) arranged, said teeth (311) being arranged above one another, and wherein each catch element (224) and the associated locking element (211) are mutually configured to allow the teeth (341) of the catch element (224), when the operating member (9) is pushed down, to move along the teeth (31 1) of the locking element (211) without substantial resistance until the teeth (341) of the catch element (224) are stably engaged with the teeth (311) of the locking element (21 1); and

- wherein the release member (22) is configured to disengage the associated catch element (224) from the locking element (211) in response to displacing the release member (22) from outside towards the inside of the housing (2).

The dispensing assembly according to claim 10, characterized in that the release member (22) is formed by a zone of the side wall of the housing (2), said zone being at least partly cut around and connected to the side wall of the housing (2) in a resiliently tiltable manner at one end thereof distant from the outlet (91), wherein a strip (230) is provided on the inner side of the release member (22), said strip (230) extending inward so that it is capable of leaning against the associated catch element (224) of the locking insert (11) when the release member (22) is pressed in.

12. A dispensing device (100) adapted for storing a liquid or semi-liquid material and for dispensing thereof in multiple doses of various amounts, characterized in that the dispensing device comprises

a container (101) for storing a liquid or semi-liquid material,

on one side of the container (101), an adjustable dosing dispensing assembly (1) according to any one claims 1 to 1 1 , and

a vacuum plug (6) arranged within the container (101) in a sealed manner.

13. A locking assembly for an adjustable dosing dispensing assembly according to claim 1 , characterized in that the locking assembly comprises

at least one edge (11 1) arranged inside the operating member (9), and at least one catch element (24, 24') extending in parallel to the operating direction (M) and releasably coupled to said at least one edge (11 1),

- wherein each of said at least one catch element (24, 24') is rigidly connected to a release member (22), said release member (22) being resiliently coupled to the housing, and

- wherein the end portion (241) of each catch element (24, 24') that engages with the at least one edge (11 1) and the edges (11 1) are mutually configured to allow, when the operating member (9) is pushed down, the edges (111) to move over the end portion (241) of the catch element (24, 24') substantially without resistance until the catch element (24, 24') is stably engaged with an edge (11 1) in a locked state of the operating member (9), and

- wherein in response to displacing the release member (22) from outside towards the inside of the housing (2), the release member is configured to disengage the associated catch element (24, 24') from the at least one edge (11 1).

14. A locking assembly for an adjustable dosing dispensing assembly of claim 1 , characterized in that the locking assembly comprises:

at least one locking element (211) arranged inside the housing (2); and at least one catch element (224) arranged in parallel with the operating direction (M) and releasably coupled to at least one locking element (211);

- wherein the at least one catch element (224) is resiliently connected to a locking insert (11) coupled to the operating member (9);

- wherein each of said catch elements (224) has a plurality of teeth (341) for engaging with a plurality of teeth (31 1) of the at least one locking element (21 1), said teeth (311) being arranged above one another, and wherein a catch element (224) and the associated locking element (211) are mutually configured to allow the teeth (341) of the catch element (224), when the operating member (9) is pushed down, to move along the teeth (31 1) of the locking element (21 1) without substantial resistance until the teeth (341) of the catch element (224) are stably engaged with the teeth (311) of the locking element (211); and

- wherein the release member (22) is configured to disengage the associated catch element (224) from the locking element (211) in response to displacing the release member (22) from outside towards the inside of the housing (2).
