Claims

1. Tower (1 ), in particular for wind power stations, comprising a plurality of corner posts (7) and cross-struts (6) extending between dedicated corner posts (7) for connecting the corner posts (7) to form a lattice tower section for at least a part of the tower (1 ),

characterized in that

the corner posts (7) of at least a part of the tower (1 ) having a star- shaped cross-section formed such that each corner post (7) comprising a plurality of wings (10) extending from a common center line (11 ) in different directions from each other, wherein the wings (10) of a common post (7) directly abutting each other and all of the wings (10) of a common post (7) having equal width and/or thickness.

2. Tower (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that a lower part is the lattice tower section of the tower (1) comprising the star-shaped corner posts (7).

3. Tower (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that an upper part of the tower (1) is directly or with a transition unit connected to the top section of the lower lattice tower section, said lower lattice tower section comprising the star-shaped corner-posts (7).

4. Tower (1) according to claim 3, characterized in that the upper part comprising a tubular tower, a single mast or a lattice tower.

5. Tower (1) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the tower (1 ) comprises at least three parts including a lower part, an intermediate part and an upper part, said intermediate part of the tower (1 ) comprising corner posts (7) having a star-shaped cross-section.

Tower (1) according to claim 5, characterized in that said star-shaped corner posts (7) being connected to the top section of a lower part of the tower (1 ) formed by a tubular tower section or by a lattice tower and being connected to the bottom section of an upper part of the tower (1) being formed by a tubular tower or by a lattice tower.

Tower (1 ), in particular for wind power stations, comprising a lower part (2) of tower, said lower part (2) of tower comprising a plurality of corner posts (4), said corner posts (4) each are formed by a plurality of profile elements (12) having a curved or angled profile in cross- section and being joined together to form an overall profile of the corner posts (4) being closed in cross-section, and comprising cross- struts (6), said cross-struts (6) extending between dedicated corner posts (4) for connecting the corner posts (4) to form a lattice tower (1 ), and comprising an intermediate and/or an upper part (3) of tower, characterized in that the upper part (3) of the tower (1 ) comprising at least one star-shaped post (7) having a star-shaped cross-section, said post (7) being formed by a plurality of wings (10) extending from a common center line (11 ) in different directions from each other.

Tower (1) according to claim 7, characterized in that the star-shaped posts (7) directly joins the free end of the adjacent part (2) of tower (1 ), wherein the wings (10) each are located between two dedicated flanges (19) of profile elements (12) forming a hollow post of the adjacent part (2) of tower (1), said flanges (19) and the intermediate wings (10) being arranged side-by-side and are connected to each other.

9. Tower (1 ) according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the star-shaped posts (7) of tower (1 ) indirectly joins a free end of the adjacent part (2) of tower (1 ), wherein a transmission element is provided between the adjacent part (2) of tower (1 ) and the star-

shaped posts (7) of tower (1 ).

Tower (1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the part of tower (1 ) having star-shaped posts (7) comprising a number of star-shaped corner posts (7) according to the number of corner posts (4) of an adjacent part of a lattice tower, wherein dedicated star-shaped corner posts (7) are connected with each other by cross-struts (8) to form the lattice tower (1 ).

Tower (1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one star-shaped posts (7) are assembled by use of a plurality of metal bar elements forming the wings (10), wherein the metal bar elements are welded to each other along the center line (11 ) on the edges facing to each other.

Tower (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the star-shaped posts (7) are assembled by use of a first metal bar element (21) being arched along the center line (11) so that the two opposite free edge regions extending parallel to the center line (11 ) are forming wings (10) extending in a first angle to each other, wherein a second metal bar element (22) is positioned and welded to the outer face of the arched first metal bar element (21 ) with an longitudinal edge extending parallel to the center line (11 ) along the longitudinal length (L) of the post (7).

Tower (1 ) according to claim 12, characterized in that the second metal bar element (22) is welded on both sides of the second metal bar element (22) along the longitudinal length (L) of the second metal bar element (22) to the outer convex arched surface of the arched first metal bar element (21).

Tower (1 ) according to claims 12 or 13, characterized in that the opposite side to the first side of the second metal bar element (22) is directed outwards from the center of the tower structure, and that cross-struts (8) are connected to free edges of the U- or V-shaped arched first metal bar element (21).

15. Tower (1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the moment center lies in the neutral axis of the profiles of the star-shaped posts (7).

16. Tower (1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that star-shaped posts (7) are supported by at least one cross-strut (8) on the span defined by two adjacent horizontal elements.

17. Post (7) for a tower, in particular corner post (7) for a lattice tower, characterized in that the post (7) extending along a longitudinal axis (L) and comprising two or more metal bar elements forming wings (10), said wings (10) directly abutting each other and extending from a common center line (11) in different directions from each other and further extending along the longitudinal axis (L) of the post (7), the post (7) having a star-shaped cross-section.

18. Post (7) according to claim 17, characterized in that the star-shaped post (7) is assembled by use of a first metal bar element (21 ) being arched along the center line (11 ), so that the two opposite free edge regions extending parallel to the center line (1 1 ) are forming wings (10) extending in a first angle to each other, wherein a second metal bar element is positioned with an longitudinal edge parallel to the center line (11 ) and welded to the other convex face of the arched first metal bar element.

19. Post (7) according to claim 18, characterized in that the second metal bar element is welded on a first side of the second metal bar element along the longitudinal length of the second metal bar element to the outer convex face of the arched first metal bar element, wherein a second side located on the opposite side to the first side of the second metal bar element and extending along the longitudinal length of the second metal bar element is unconnected to the first metal bar element.

20. Post (7) according to claim 17, characterized in that the star-shaped post (7) is assembled by use of a plurality of metal bar elements forming the wings (10), wherein the metal bar elements are welded to each other along the center line (11) on the edges facing to each other.

21. Post (7) according to one of claims 17 to 20, characterized in that all of the wings (10) of a common post (7) having equal width and/or thickness.
