Disclosed are a device and a method for competition-based intra prediction encoding/decoding using multiple prediction filters. The device for intra prediction encoding, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an optimal filter selection unit, having a plurality of extrapolation prediction filter candidates which filter peripheral pixels around current blocks based on the intra-prediction direction or the mode of each of the current blocks to be encoded, for selecting the filter involving the lowest encoding cost among the plurality of extrapolation prediction filter candidates; a remaining signal generation unit for generating the extrapolation prediction value of the current blocks using the filter selected by the optimal filter selection unit, and for generating remaining signals by calculating the difference between the extrapolation prediction value and the pixel value of the current blocks; a transformation and quantization unit for transforming and quantizing the remaining signals generated by the remaining signal generation unit; and an entropy encoding unit for entropy-encoding the transformed and quantized remaining signals.

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de codage/décodage d'intraprédiction reposant sur la compétition, faisant intervenir des filtres de prédiction multiples. Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, le dispositif de codage d'intraprédiction comprend: une unité de sélection de filtre optimal, comportant une pluralité de filtres de prédiction d'extrapolation candidats qui filtrent les pixels périphériques autour des blocs actuels en se basant sur la direction d'intraprédiction ou du mode de chacun des blocs actuels à coder, et permettant de sélectionner le filtre impliquant le coût de codage le plus faible parmi la pluralité de filtres de prédiction d'extrapolation candidats; une unité de génération de signaux restants pour générer la valeur de prédiction d'extrapolation des blocs courants au moyen du filtre sélectionné par l'unité de sélection de filtre optimal, et pour générer les signaux restants par calcul de la différence entre la valeur de prédiction d'extrapolation et la valeur de pixel des blocs actuels; une unité de transformation et de quantification pour transformer et quantifier les signaux restants générés par l'unité de génération de signaux restants; et une unité de codage entropique pour appliquer un codage entropique aux signaux transformés et quantifiés restants.

다중 예측 필터를 이용하는 경쟁기반 인트라 예측 부호화/복호화 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 인트라 예측 부호화 장치는, 부호화하고자 하는 현재블록의 각각의 인트라 예측 방향 또는 모드 별로 현재블록 주변의 화소들을 필터링하는 복수 개의 외삽 예측 필터 후보를 구비하며, 복수 개의 외삽 예측 필터 후보 중 부호화 비용이 가장 적은 필터를 선택하는 최적필터 선택부; 최적필터 선택부에 의해 선택된 필터를 통해 현재블록의 외삽 예측 값을 생성하며, 생성된 현재블록의 외삽 예측 값과 현재블록의 화소 값 사이의 차이를 계산하여 잔여 신호를 생성하는 잔여신호 생성부; 잔여신호 생성부에 의해 생성된 잔여 신호를 변환 및 양자화하는 변환 및 양자화부; 및 변환 및 양자화된 잔여 신호를 엔트로피 부호화하는 엔트로피 부호부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
