Disclosed is a stent device (1) in which a stent (3) that supports a blood vessel from inside is held by a stent cover member (4). Said stent device comprises a tube-shaped cartridge (2), a stent, and a stent cover member. The tube-shaped cartridge can expand and contract radially, but axial elongation thereof is restricted. The stent, which is formed into a tube shape from a bioabsorbable shape-memory polymer material, stores a shape which is equal or larger in diameter than the inside diameter of a blood vessel. In a contracted state, the stent is fitted around the outer surface of the tube-shaped cartridge. The stent cover member, which comprises an elastic bioabsorbable polymer material, is formed into a tube shape that has an inner diameter such that the stent is held in the aforementioned contracted state, and when the stent expands to the size stored therein, the stent cover member plastically deforms such that the stent is no longer held. As the tube-shaped cartridge expands radially, the stent expands along with the cover member, and when the tube-shaped cartridge contracts radially, the stent and the cover member separate from the tube-shaped cartridge.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de stent (1) dans lequel un stent (3) qui supporte un vaisseau sanguin depuis l'intérieur est maintenu par un élément de couverture de stent (4). Ledit dispositif de stent comprend une cartouche tubulaire (2), un stent, et un élément de couverture de stent. La cartouche tubulaire peut se dilater et se contracter radialement, mais son élongation axiale est restreinte. Le stent, qui est façonné en une forme tubulaire dans un matériau polymère à mémoire de forme bioabsorbable, a en mémoire une forme qui est de diamètre égal ou supérieur au diamètre interne d'un vaisseau sanguin. A l'état contracté, le stent s'ajuste autour de la surface externe de la cartouche tubulaire. L'élément de couverture du stent, qui comprend un matériau polymère bioabsorbable élastique, est façonné en une forme tubulaire dont le diamètre interne est tel que le stent est maintenu dans l'état contracté susmentionné, et lorsque le stent se dilate à la taille qu'il a en mémoire, l'élément de couverture de stent se déforme plastiquement de telle sorte que le stent n'est plus maintenu. Lorsque la cartouche tubulaire se dilate radialement, le stent se dilate avec l'élément de couverture, et lorsque la cartouche tubulaire se contracte radialement, le stent et l'élément de couverture se séparent de la cartouche tubulaire.
